Built for real engineering workflows

DevToolsHub is not a thin wrapper around a single library—we curate focused utilities that developers reach for dozens of times a week: formatting payloads before a pull request, decoding a token to confirm claims, comparing two config dumps, or generating a one-off UUID for a migration script. Each page explains the task in plain language, runs as much as possible in your own browser, and lets you share a link when you need someone else to see the exact same input.

Ship with confidence

Validate JSON and XML before it hits CI, inspect certificates and cron expressions before production windows, and keep Markdown drafts readable while your team reviews them in parallel.

Respect for your data

We design tools so sensitive blobs stay local unless a feature clearly needs the network. That model reduces accidental exfiltration and makes the site usable on locked-down corporate laptops where sending proprietary JSON to unknown servers is not an option.

Guides on every page

Below each tool you will find original context on when to use it, pitfalls to avoid, and how it fits next to your editor and terminal—not generic filler, but practical notes we would want if we landed on the page from a search engine at two in the morning.

In-depth developer guides

We publish 14 original long-form articles (and growing) on JSON validation, JWT security, cron and time zones, CSV migration, regex in production, Base64 in APIs, Markdown docs, XML in enterprise systems, accessible color, YAML for Kubernetes, password hygiene, TLS certificates, and safe use of browser-based tools.

Each tool page also includes its own introduction, examples, five-question FAQ, and multiple guide sections—so you never land on a blank utility with only ads.

Frequently asked questions

Quick answers about pricing, privacy, and how to use the site.

Are DevToolsHub tools free?
Yes. Every tool is free with no signup or account. Use them as often as you like.
Is my data sent to your servers?
Most tools run in your browser only—your JSON, text, PEM certificates, and similar input stay on your device. Tools that need the network (for example checking your public IP) call external services only for that purpose.
How do I share a result with a link?
Many pages include a Share URL button. It copies a link with your input encoded in query parameters so you or teammates can reopen the same state later.
What tools can I use?
JSON formatter and validator, Base64 encode/decode, regex tester, JWT decoder, MD5/SHA hash generator, CSV↔JSON and YAML↔JSON converters, PEM and SSL certificate decoder, URL encoder, UUID generator, Markdown preview, text diff, color picker, cron builder, XML formatter, password and QR generators, and more—all listed below.
Where is the educational content?
Open any tool and scroll below the workspace—you will find examples, FAQs, and guides. For longer reads, visit our developer guides or editorial standards page describing how we write.
How do cookies and ads work?
We ask for consent before loading Google AdSense. You can reject non-essential cookies or change your mind anytime via Cookie settings in the footer. Details are in our Privacy and Cookie policies.
